Super Friends unite in this family-friendly animation from DC Comics and Warner Bros, featuring a superhero adventure led by the four-legged counterparts of Justice League.
The opening sequence shows the final moments of planet Krypton, where Krypto, baby Kal-El’s Kryptonian pet, jumps into future Superman’s spaceship for the duo’s super-flight escape to Earth.
Years later, Krypto (voiced by Dwayne Johnson), now the Super-Hound with superhero powers, enjoys his bromance flights with his pal, Superman (voiced by John Krasinski). Where? The boundless galaxy is the super-duo’s playground.
So naturally, when Superman starts paying attention to reporter Lois Lane (voiced by Olivia Wilde), Krypto the Super-Dog becomes disgruntled and resentful. To add insult to injury, it doesn’t help when Superman comes up with the idea of having another dog keep Krypto company.
The animal shelter has a motley crew with the propensity to escape to a magical place. They include pack leader dog Ace (voiced by Kevin Hart), rambunctious pig PB (Melissa Bayer), short-sighted turtle Merton (voiced by Natasha Lyonne), and nervous squirrel Chip (voiced by Diego Luna).
There’s also the infamous guinea pig Lulu (voiced by Kate McKinnon), who at some point gains superpowers which she uses to subdue the Justice League, including Superman, Wonder Woman (voiced by Jameela Jamil), and Batman. (voiced by Keanu Reeves).
Can Krypto save his master and the Justice League? Well, her new super friends can definitely help. After all, a friend in need really is a friend.
The film provides great laughs and lots of fun entertainment for the whole family. It paints a very colorful and engaging world for children and parents.

“Revenge” – Isabella Amara, Ashton Kutcher, Grayson Berry; directed by BJ Novak
The feature debut from “The Office” screenwriter and actor BJ Novak is a neo-noir comedy-mystery thriller set in a murder case.
In the film, Novak plays Manhattan reporter and aspiring podcaster Ben Manalowitz, a toxic man with an uncontrollable appetite for serial dating. When Abby (Lio tipton), one of his one-night stands, is found dead in West Texas, he attends her funeral and meets her family, who believe Ben was Abby’s love interest.
Her brothers (Eli Abrams Bickel and Boyd Holbrook) are totally devastated and they think their sister’s death is no accident. But who could have done it? Well, the brothers are burning with anger and revenge.
Guess what? To solve the case, Ben turns around and cooks up a buzzy, sensational podcast. His subjects, ranging from the operosity of local music production to the sensitive issue of America’s divide, offer insight into the revenge he has in mind.
Novak’s incredible quip is written all over the place, immersing audiences in a heart-pounding absurdist comedy.
