Rockstar Games may have revealed the first hint at an upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 DLC for GTA Online. First it was a mine of data, and now an NPC might have given a spawn location for the next big mission.
Since the move to next-gen consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, the developers have remained silent about possible changes to their online game mode.
Of course, weekly updates have continued with new Casino podium vehicles, but players are still waiting for more “expanded and improved” content.
Well, they might not have to wait much longer.
New Michael’s story DLC has been speculated since the GTA Online code was found.
GTA Online leak reveals DLC clues
One of the biggest leakers in the Grand Theft Auto community, Tez2, published an interesting discovery in the title’s public code on June 2. This time, however, they weren’t the ones who dug it up.
They said, “IIn addition to Vespucci Job Remix’s cinematic references, @rollschuh2282 discovered that Rockstar had added a new storyline spawn point, on GTAV PS5 and Xbox Series, ahead of Record A Studios with “movie_set” as the assigned pedalboard model set.

The leaker speculated that this could be “a hint of a movie DLC starring Michael” – although nothing official has been announced by the developers yet.
In addition to Vespucci Job Remix’s cinematic references, @rollschuh2282 discovered that Rockstar had added a new storyline spawn point, on GTAV PS5 and Xbox Series, ahead of Record A Studios with “movie_set” as the assigned pedalboard model set.

In the code there are not only references to the movie studio as a future spawn location, but also “female” and “male” DLCs are mentioned. In addition to this, the male and female “Triathalon” are also presented.

A second interesting development came about 40 minutes after the original post, from Tez2.
They noticed that a certain NPC frequented the area at certain times, often sitting near the filming area.
Whether or not these are hints left by the developers for something to come remains to be seen, though little can be gleaned from the limited hints so far.
